S.T. Yau High School Science Award (Asia)

The Scientific Advisory Board provides general oversight and advice to YHSA(Asia), including assignment of its regional director and other executives.

The Executive Committee is responsible for moderating regional matters as well as interpretation of rules and regulations across the regions and subject matters. It includes the Chair of the Scientific Advisory Board, the three regional directors and a scientific coordinator assigned by YMSC.

As in line with other regions, YHSA(Asia) has a Regional Advisory Committee to provide oversight and advice to the operation of the Award at the regional level. It includes leading figures of regional partners and other scientists familiar with regional matters and the mission of YHSA(Asia).

Professor Henry N.C. Wong, Founding Member of ASHK, is the Regional Director of YHSA(Asia).

There are Assessment Panels respectively for the six subject categories at the regional level. Each Assessment Panel is responsible for screening competition entries and adjudicating finalists for its subject category.

The composition of 2024 Assessment Panels will NOT be announced to the public until the end of this year's competition.
