Late June : Initial screening of research outlines by Assessment Panel Chairs
July : Result announcement of initial screening
14 August : Deadline for shortlisted teams to submit full research report
Late August : Referee assessment of research reports
September : Result announcement of referee assessment
October & November: Oral defense (plus result announcement) in Hong Kong
Late November: Award Presentation and Science Talk
7-8 December: Awardees of the Gold and Silver prize will be nominated to join the YHSA Finale in Beijing in December 2024
