15 June : Deadline for registration
15 June : Deadline for submission of research outline
Late-June : Initial screening of research outlines by Assessment Panel Chairs
Early-July : Result announcement of initial screening
15 August : Deadline for shortlisted teams to submit full research report
Late-August : Referee assessment of research reports
September : Result announcement of referee assessment
October / November: Oral defense (plus result announcement), Award Presentation and Science Talk in Hong Kong.
December: Awardees of the Gold and Silver prize will be nominated to join the YHSA Finale in Beijing in December 2023
